I shared some memorable time with this female Northern Cardinal while I waited near my Dogwood tree to see who might stop for some of her berries. This Cardinal did not startle when I arrived. I talked to her softly for quite some time, and she completely relaxed (as is evidenced by her feathers being fluffed out and the crest on her head was laid back.) She looked at me continuously, and did not shy from the camera when I pointed it at her. I had time for 2 shots before she became agitated. Once I put the camera away, she settled again, and began talking to ME! Unforgettable..............
I really appreciate all your views, comments, and follows..........hope to reply soon. Thanks, Les xx

What a lovely image. Love the catchlight in this sweet girl's eye. Beautiful lighting and tones. I loved your story too - so nice when we can commune with these wild creatures a bit.
@yorkshirekiwi Thanks very much for the great comment Carol. Isn't it fun on 365 to be able to see birds, trees, flowers, scenery, etc. from other places.!
