Quintessential New England

This Connecticut School House may be a bit "cliché," but it was built in 1825, and is on the National Register of Historic Places. Classrooms are on both levels. It was a public schoolhouse until 1945; then it became an elite private school. It's fine example of the "Federal Style" of buildings at the time.
