I hate it for all of you that you are subjected to my passion for the moon. I really started out just shooting the colorful clouds, but wait.........they are near the moon ! Just wait a few moments and they will be closer to the moon and then you can get them both! Got it!
@grammyn You are very welcome, Katy. I have not seen a moon look so awesome in a photo like this, plus the red/orange of visible clouds and how the sun going down makes the sky look.
Beautiful, Katy ....I love your moon photos. Why not do what you love to do! I'm always gravitating towards the ones that I love best! I try to get outside the box sometimes, but end up with what I love doing. Your colors are fantastic here and that moon is just GREAT!
Awsome shot: good job Katy. That is exactly the type of result that I will try for [unless it is raining] tomorrow am, and will be shooting west over water toward moonset and at sunrise.
It's a "two fer!" yay! The clouds are such a pretty pastel color! Oh, and I did not go try to shoot the moon or sky last night...it was thunder storming here.
@espyetta Thanks,MaryBeth. tis was between our downpours. As a matter of fact it wasn't 30 minutes later the bottom fell out. I consider myself luck to get the shot!
