A bit of a double entendre. I forgot to take my camera with me this morning as I left the house. Once l came home I didn't want to leave again to find a picture and I can only take so many bug and flower pictures. aha! The weekly theme to the rescue for inspiration. Nope! Not this week. I thought " bad timing" and this shot came to mind. If you will note the clock says 1:27, and has said that same time for months, and the camera recorded the time as 3:47 (because I forgot to set it ahead for DST. It was really 4:47) so there is the second reference to time.
Very resourceful even if the timing was inconsistent with what one would consider good. Maybe you could consider the clock face as being messy and call it a messy portrait for the 52 week challenge. :-P
What a beautiful piece of craftsmanship that gorgeous clock is. I feel the same about bugs and flowers, but that is all I have available to me atm. Love all YOUR bugs 'n things though. Great photo, love it in B&W it has an old feel to it. Fav!
Talk about your timing being off- well, the clock and the camera's timing is off. You took time to take the shot- well, there now you've added a few more time related ideas to this shot! Good shot in a pinch!
Neat shot! Beautiful clock. I have one that says 11:30. It ran briefly after we moved, then stopped. My dad wouldn't understand--he made clocks and kept a couple of dozen of them running all the time.
