Anymore I've got a lighted gas tank on my dash telling me to go get gas. Sometimes it becomes a game - how far can I go and still have enough to get to the pump.
Love the sharp contrasts. I’m glad I have a hybrid. I just charge it every day and I only need to gas up when we are going on a trip that will exceed our charge.
Love the contrasts - was trying to read what you were paying for regular (could read the others) - we're at $3.14 - imagine you're somewhere near that.
Great capture and contrasts. Fortunately we have attendant here who do the filling. As we get a kickback when filled with a special card on Wednesdays, I could never forget ;-)
makes a great b&w...glad you made it to the pump .... My car gets to half a tank and I start thinking it's time for gas. Bob likes the challenge of running on fumes.
@corinnec I am glad you think so Corinne @Dawn no they don't thanks Dawn @olivetreeann thank you Ann. I should probably follow Jeff's rule but I am usually more on your side of the equation @randystreat LOL! this sounds exactly like me! I was there with this one this time @shutterbug49 So glad you like it Debbie I don't have to charge or fill mine every day @milaniet thank you Milanie This was $3.17 - down from $3.25 about a week ago @ludwigsdiana I am glad you like it Diana I remember the first time I had to fill my own tank decades ago and I was terrified of it @lesip I should do what you do but find myself more like Bob. I am usually never more than a few miles from home though Glad you like the photo @johnfalconer i am glad you think so John thanks @wakelys two birds.... thanks Sue @nicolecampbell Definitely necessary for that trip. @mkbowles There is a great feeling about it isn't there? No stress for a little while @tunia I may have done it once or twice but with fuel injected engines today getting started again is much more complicated than it used to be @granagringa Thank you Madeline it is definitely part of our culture!
@lesip - when i still drove, and lived in the country, i'm forever running on fumes to the dismay of the ex-partner. and of course it being the country gas stations were not that easily accessed. but then sometimes, even if the tank is only half empty, if i see a bargain i'd fill the tank up.
@Dawn no they don't thanks Dawn
