A painting my sister brought home for me from her trip to ‘ The Island of Lipari’ where our Grandfather was born. Lipari is the largest of the Aeolian Islands in the Tyrrhenian Sea off the northern coast of Sicily, southern Italy; it is also the name of the island's main town. The glorious colors are true......our Sicilian Grand Father met & married our German Grand Mother after they migrated to Australia & they had seven children, one of whom was our dear father....
