4 cm. Tiny Green Winged Insect ~

In my garden.
Have tried to identify this insect, hoping someone can help me.

I thought maybe a praying mantis but you can't see his front legs. It could be they are tucked underneath him.

I'm with @onewing on this. It has to be a mantis, we just can't see its front legs. Cool photo!

We get these from time to time and I have always assumed they were a mantis of some sort
