Driving north west from Sunshine Coast to Toowoomba we passed through Toogoolawah 2 days after the fires swept through closing the H’way south, burning one property to the ground & damaging much property. You can see many still smoking spots which are being watched very carefully. Water bombing & 27 fire fighting crews were needed. you could smell the smoke & the fire haze slowed traffic down.
