This weekend was the start of the Cripple Creek Ice Festival. It runs 2 weekends, and the artists continue working on their sculptures both weekends. There is usually a theme for the sculptors. Cripple Creek is a small mining and tourist town in the mountains. I have posted photos from here before in the fall. There were other more intricate sculptures but for some reason I liked the lines in this one. Thank you for viewing!
This is so amazing! I remember your photos from the fall, and I still want to go there. I see places all over 365 that I know I will never get to see any other way, but Colorado is just one state away.
