On this day, we hiked the Fisher Towers hike which is 5 miles with rock formations, towers, and spires! It was fantastic! It is near Arches NP on the Bureau of Land Management land. It is hard to see, but on each side of the spire all the way to the right there are climbers at the base. They had a rope going from the climber on the right to the top of the spire where there is another climber that you cannot see. They look just like little rocks sticking up. I have another photo showing that better which I will try to post to my Beyond 365 Album. Thanks so much for your views, comments, and faves for my last 2 posts!
Ah, something new for us to see when we next visit my son! In addition to being a NPS ranger, he is also a part-time EMT in Moab. Even though it has a small population, it has the busiest EMS in the state. Your photo shows why!
@cejaanderson We did not make it to Canyonlands this trip. Really looking forward to stopping there on the next trip. I bet the EMT's are very busy here with all the more extreme outdoor activities.
