Snow in July

This is a view hiking down from Pikes Peak. This area is called Devil's Playground. It is called that because behind us are rock outcroppings. When there is lightening many times the lightening hits the rocks and then jumps to other rocks. Not a place you want to be hiking during a lightening storm. Tomorrow I will post a shot of the rocks. Best on black. :)!
Beautiful shot! I remember riding the cog train up Pikes Peak one year in July and it was snowing like crazy on top!

What a beautiful view after your hike, it is stunning. We have unfotunately, two people killed in the Brecon Beacons(Wales) who were hiking and were struckby lightning

Beautiful place. This could be in the UK Pennine hills. Don't like the sound of thunder storms there though.
