On our Christmas trip, we drove up to North Carolina by Asheville for a day to visit my husband's sister and her family. She always has fun and different things to do. She had about 20 lanterns that everyone lit and launched into the air. It was very fun. We could never do this in Colorado with the dryness and fire danger. My husband, Larry, is in the middle and my oldest daughter, Lauren, to the left. Thanks for viewing!
I love this! This event was actually held in Albuquerque this past fall with hundreds of lanterns. It cost a lot of money to go, and it was iffy as to whether or not they would be the required permits, so we did not take the chance. It happened, and I sort of wish we had gone.
