Lubeck, Germany

Our last stop on our European vacation was Lubeck, Germany. This view is from the top of one of the church steeples looking at the river, Traves, and part of Old Town. The Gate House (Holstentor) is near the center of the photo which was the entrance into this older part of the city. It was built in 1464 and was part of the Medieval city fortification. It is one of the two gates left. It is of Brick Gothic construction. The row of buildings near it on the left are the salt storehouses. Best on black. Thank you for putting "The Berlin Cathedral" on the PP! I appreciate it! We had beautiful weather when we were in Lubeck.
