This is Kevin going through airport security in Denver on his way to Antarctica. He is in the lower center part of the photo in the checked flannel shirt. We always wait up high so we can see him go down the escalator to take the train to his gate.
Wow! That's certainly a busy airport! The last time I was in the Denver airport was 30 years ago and I was 7 months pregnant, traveling from San Antonio to Canada. I remember the experience because the flight I was on was late arriving and my connecting flight had already left...so I had to walk all the way to the front ticket counters to try to get another flight arranged. They did get me a cart for a ride back to the gates. I arrived in Canada about 5 hours later than expected and my luggage didn't arrive for another two days. Wow, I hadn't thought about that experience in years. :-)
