Buddy Bench Presentation by harbie

Buddy Bench Presentation

This is Annie giving her presentation to some of the 4th graders on how to use the Buddy Bench on the playground. It is not to be used just to sit on. It is for children to let others know they are looking for someone to play or interact with. The school counselor is on the bench pretending to be a student and they are acting out different scenarios. The children listening were very interactive and had great questions. They were also given scenarios and the kids were able to come up in front of the group to act it out. The other girl is one of Annie's friends and troop members helping her out. Thanks so much for viewing!
Such a great idea!

What a sweet scene with their hands all up. Makes me miss teaching.

I’m sure the students will love having these Buddy Benches on the playground . . . a positive way to let others know they’re in need of companionship. Annie certainly chose a worthwhile project for her Girl Scout Gold Award! Please give her my congratulations for a job well done! :-)
