Lyle Lake

This is the photo of the lake we were taking photos of in yesterday's shot. It was really beautiful. From here, we hiked about 1 1/2 miles more to a Mormon Lake which is higher in elevation. Believe it or not I forgot to take a photo (we were eating lunch there)! Best on black. Thanks so much for viewing!

This reminds me of what we tried to see at Grand Mesa in May, but it all was still frozen over. I'm glad a Colorado mountain lake now!

@janeandcharlie Jane, I was mixing up the Grand Mesa Lakes with the Blue Mesa Reservoir. Unfortunately I do not have a photo of the Grand Mesa Lakes. I have not seen them but would sure love to!!
