We had a spring storm come through with temperatures dropping at the higher elevations (we are at 7,000 ft) so we got 8 inches of snow...yes on May 20th! It is supposed to get back up to the high 60's by Friday. The snow was so wet and heavy we had to brush it off tree branches so they wouldn't break! I would say about this time WE ARE READY FOR NO MORE SNOW! :) Thanks for viewing!
Similar to my Grand Canyon South rim tale of ending my winter travel season camping at the south rim on memorial weekend. I had to ask the rangers why all to downed branches in the campground. "Oh," they said, "that was from the massive snow storm we had last weekend."
