Spouts

I have seen these bulbs at the market the past two weeks and they have been getting bigger and bigger. Today some of them had finally popped open, so I wanted to capture this first sign of spring in Aachen. The weather had warmed up into the 50's (F) and it was really sunny today too so it was a great day.

I missed this yesterday...really like the signs if Spring that are appearing now but also the pattern your picture makes. Just wish somone would buy them now and give them some good soil! Typical gardener comment! :-)
