My husband's family partakes in some friendly wagering for the Triple Crown horse races and I usually end up the Beetlebaum of the day. (That is because I use very scientific methods for picking my horse - like funny names...) But today at The Kentucky Derby - finally - I came out on top!! Super Saver is the big winner!! (I'm a big fan of coupons...) I think I raked in 6 whole bucks. Watch out Preakness, here I come!!

The jockey, Calvin Borel gives the best interviews ever. He speaks some form of English that is almost completely unintelligible (he is from Louisiana) but I love to listen to him. Apparently the last time he won, he got to have lunch with the Queen of England. What I wouldn't give to have overheard THAT conversation!!
