Paint It White

"I see a grubby, fingerprint covered door and I want to paint it white. No mud streaks anymore I want them to turn white..."

Ok, so that just doesn't have the same ring to it as the Stones version. But that's my holiday weekend so far. Two doors down (wait isn't that another band? No wait, it's Three Doors...) and two to go - upstairs anyway. They look so clean at the moment. If only I could banish the boys to the garage - at least for the weekend! ;)
"Banish the Boys" sounds like a good name for a band too, lol.
Nice shot. I really like that trim around the doors :)

Love the cottage feel and the beautiful trim work! It's gives such a feeling of satisfaction to accomplish all that, doesn't it?

Yes! And we got all the doors we were planning to, done and everything is cleaned up. I think that was our biggest accomplishment! :)

Holly, Funny thing is that when I was debating whether to paint the door of the guest room along with the white trim, I actually thought of you and knew a fresh coat of white would make me happy next to the new grey blue walls. Painting totally cramps my hands, it's terrible but I just suck it up because like you said, the finished product is so worth it and it inspires me to do even more. Next week, I'll be painting the stairway walls to the 2nd floor, those walls take such a beating.
