Don't worry - today wasn't as bad as all that! Last year on this date the boys and I were in "The Accident!" Somebody (teenage girl!!) ran a stop sign and crashed right into us. Nobody was really hurt, it just scared the bejeezus out of us all and we all got a ride in an ambulance that I'm pretty sure no one wants to do again. The boys still talk about it like it was an epic event in their lives - and unfortunately, at their age, I guess it pretty much is. Here's hoping it is the last epic event of this kind for a long, long time! (Read as: Forever!) I still miss this poor van. I'm convinced it saved my life. After all this crunch, all I got was a hole in my shin that needed one whole stitch! (Ok, there was a whopper of a bruise too that lasted a good long time - not to mention the emotional distress caused by the other drivers insurance agent...) Godspeed sweet Safari. You are missed! ;)
Yikes ! ! ! Had a similar thing happen. The kids still talk about it. Fifteen years later, lol. Like yours, I'm glad they are here to laugh about it :)
