We just returned from a week in Vermont for vacation. It was terrific - and we did it old school style, with barely any technology so now I will have to catch up for the whole week uploading en mass. This was heading up to our house on Lake Champlain. We stopped to see the (newly) famed "Vermontasaurus" constructed by some guy on his airstrip made out of old scrap wood from his yard. It was very impressive, and in my opinion, art. But the government is giving him a hard time saying he needs permits and needs to pay taxes on a "structure." Who knew, even in Vermont you gotta pay "The Man!" :)
Interesting! I had never thought about the fact that a large artwork might cross over into architecture and require a building permit. Taxes on a structure? wow.
