This is my neighbor's driveway. They have quite a spread and every inch of it is gorgeous. The building you can see to the right is actually a sugar house as they've been tapping their maples for years. You can't even see the house proper - it is well back up the drive. The pond that I've taken a lot of pictures of is actually their property too. This is the view as I finish up my morning walks and last week I had the idea to take a picture with this title once the foliage really turned. The joke being that I covet their yard this time of year... That night we learned that our neighbor had passed away recently. We didn't know him very well, just to wave to him on his tractor, but he was not very old. And he left behind a loving family. It all seems very sad. Now I know the real meaning of "Thou shalt not covet." Don't covet anything! You should just be happy with what you have - for however long you have it. Because you never know...
