We celebrated my husbands birthday a little early so we could all be together. His birthday is the 4th but my parents have generously offered to take the boys overnight so we could have a nice evening out. And since David leaves for work before anyone is up in the morning, he isn't going to see the boys on his birthday. We had a lovely evening - even if I did overcook the cake a tad...
