President's Day - Version 1

What better way to celebrate the honorable Presidents Day - more specifically Washington's Birthday - then with an educational field trip to historic sites. Washington was not there at the battles of Lexington and Concord, but his presence, and his ultimate victory over the Redcoats can be felt upon these grounds so we started at The Old North Bridge in Concord - site of the famous "Shot heard round the world." Then we proceeded to follow "Battle Road" through Lexington and into Cambridge where we ended our trip at the former headquarters of General Washington in Harvard Square on Brattle Street. An informative day indeed!
