As usual, my monkeys need no explanation. The bench on the other hand...
David took yesterday off to go to the dentist and afterwards decided it was much too nice a day to waste cleaning the bathrooms (my exciting plans for a Thursday...) So we took the boys on a hike instead. Not far from our house is an art "institute" - which is actually 140 acres of hiking trails with sculptures interspersed along the way. It was a really neat place - and a good hike to boot. The kids had more fun than usual since they were always waiting to see what was around the next corner. It was a really interesting assortment of art too - as you can see by the granite bench. I highly recommend it to anyone who may be in the area. And the best part is it is totally free. Donations accepted of course. ;) It made for a great impromptu day.
