This one is for my friend Brenda who was just recently waxing nostalgic over our college days at The University of Massachusetts, oh, about a million years ago now.... She and her old roommate went back and visited the campus to see how things had changed. Apparently there was something in the air because the family and I found ourselves out that way on a random adventure of our own yesterday. We did a hike up to an observation tower that I had driven by probably a million times while I was at school there (you go right by it on the way to The Fillin' Station. Mmmmmm, fries with gravy.... ;) but somehow I never got around to going up. What a great view, I have to say. I was really missing out. Now I don't know how different the campus looked from Brenda's point of view but from here it looks about the same to me. It still looks like a bunch of great memories....
(And for anyone who has never seen the campus, it is all those random tall slightly ugly buildings off in the distance! :)
