Today is my middle son Michael's birthday. He is 9. He is an amazing combination of boy energy and baffling decision making. I truly do not understand how his brain works. I sit and stare at him in confusion a lot... He is a creature unlike any other but he is certainly a breath of fresh air in our lives and I wouldn't trade him for the world!
This is Michael last summer in Northern Ireland just after we crossed the Carrick-a-rede rope bridge and right before he tumbled headlong into the North Atlantic after running at full speed to the edge of the bluff..... Alright, so he didn't actually fall in - but I'm still not sure how!! :-)
