Looking for a replacement for our wonderful, gigantic, and probably pretty old azalea that sits just off the kitchen porch. Ours is not looking very healthy these days. I am having a hard time with it since I am a lot more attached to the bush that is, sadly, on its way out than I would like to admit.... I love the color if this one - but it doesn't grow to be very big so....back to the garden center with me!
My azalea look awful and a friend told me to cut it back last August and this year it looks fabulous! It is at least a twenty year old plant. Maybe it would work on yours. This is a beautiful picture of one.
