We spent all day outside working on projects on a beautiful day so I didn't end up taking any time for pictures. But this is a shot of the new tableau we've arranged around our "honey pot" (the cover to the septic tank. ;) I know almost anything would look better than that - but I think we've done pretty well with it. I am really enjoying the new view out the kitchen window - especially when it catches the light like this. Bird pics from this scene soon, I'm sure.... :-)
Mum's the word to my hummers that I'm offering up far less than you at the buffet bar! I never saw anything like that! Get out the lawn chair and relax with the camera on your lap and at the ready! Big things are about to happen!
@Weezilou Sadly, Louise the only hummingbirds I've seen showed up the day BEFORE I put up the feeder - haven't seen one since.... I'm hoping they are coming when I'm not looking - or ese my buffet is a bust! :)
