Finally - a sneak peek at the babies.
You can tell they are getting bigger by the sound of their peeping, which is noticeably deeper in sound. And they are certainly do not seem any less hungry! Today we could finally make out little faces as they decided they had had enough of waiting for the bugs down in the dark. Although so far the "feed me" face is all I've been able to catch so really I have not seen the birds at all so much as I have seen right down their little baby throats.... ;) I wonder how much longer before they venture out.
I suspect that you will find that your babies don't get any less hungry as they get older, too. I hear tales of teenage boys' appetites, and the requirement to get second jobs simply to keep food in the fridge.
