Still on vacation. Made a stop in Portland Maine at the Cryptozoology museum. That is the study of things unknown - like Bigfoot or the Loch Ness Monster.. The boys are big fans - and quite well versed on the subjects. They like to tell me about them A LOT! And of course they speak in fact based terms. As if these things are quite true and why don't I know that. As a good Mother, my most important skill in these situations is NOT rolling my eyeballs... The jury is still out on whether or not I pull it off! ;-)
How I'd love to visit this museum AND take the grandkids! They were all here two weeks, and, trying to keep a lid on the eldest (almost 5) scaring the younger ones (2 & 3), I replied, "Oh, that's really cool" when they came scrambling down the back stairs screaming, "There's a Monster in the house!!!" Ashton must have felt I'd put a damper on his glee because shortly they came bustling in again, screaming, "There's a POISONOUS monster in the house!" Can you tell we all had "just The BEST" time?! Glad you did, too!
