Cashel asked us this on the way to his game tonight. He was looking for any excuse in the book to get out of playing for some reason. But it was, indeed, a beautiful evening - even for little league baseball. And when it was tied at the end of regulation - and the coaches suggested one more inning (which made all the parents groan on a Friday night...) - but the boys were game and Cash's team rose to the challenge and managed to come out victorious! They all ran off the field cheering after the third out. Even Cash (#6) had nothing to complain about after that! :-)
