Now that the boys are on different baseball teams and they play at the same time, Mike has been without his own bat since they always shared before. Since Mike had his yearly physical today - and had to brave three shots - I told him he earned his own so we went out and bought him this fabulous orange beauty (he wanted to call it "the orange slugger" and I said no, it should be "orange crush!" He just stared at me, confused....kids!! Don't they still make that even?!) ;) Either way it's a beaut - and it worked really well in the driveway. Now we'll have to see if it translates to the ball field. I know this much, he's got his game face down.... :-)
