I wish I had done something so nice as bake for my family. . . . Instead, I have been grumpy and out of sorts for several weeks, both before and after the election. It's like everything I have always believed in has been trashed. But you have given me a great idea: tomorrow, before I go get them from the airport and their separate travels, I will bake them something special.
