It is April vacation so the boys and I headed into Cambridge to have lunch with David. But first we headed down the Charles River a bit and visited the MIT Museum. It was a fascinating place - but some of the exhibits made my poor brain feel very small... There was one titled 'Quantum Weirdness' that none of us seem to grasp. Something about a ping pong ball spinning in circles. Hypnotizing...but confusing! We enjoyed the visit overall though and the boys want to go back so I'll take that as a good sign. In the subway station waiting to head back to Harvard Square, the boys said they felt like they were being watched. I can't explain the face - there were different images on all of the columns between the tracks. But I think this guy is a better definition of quantum weirdness than that spinning ping pong ball.... :-}
