After a couple of miserable rainy days, the long weekend kicked off right with plenty of sunshine and a exciting visitor to my feeders. I was sitting and having my morning tea - not quite awake enough to get a better shot. Then I spent the rest of the day working in the yard so I'm sure my presence kept him from coming back so I couldn't get him more in focus - but I don't mind. It was just so excellent to see my first Oriole of the year! :-)
