I am still taking terrible pictures at the boys' Cross Country Meets. However I do like the sweep of this shot and how the angle gives the action a little more depth. I would like to tell you that I did this on purpose - that this is what I planned - but honestly I was busy chatting with other parents and forgot until the last minute that I wanted to take a picture of them starting off. I literally just stuck the camera out and pushed the button without even looking.... I'd like to think that plenty of real photographers have used this Dumb Luck Technique from time to time.....they're just not admitting it! ;-)
