When you can’t go to work because of the continued shutdown of the government - at the very least you have some extra time to sit and watch the birds... Today David spotted a Red-breasted Nuthatch at our feeders - which neither of us had seen before. Not the best picture by me - but I like it. I know David would much rather be at work - but if he keeps up with the rare bird sightings that’s gotta count for something, right?! 😊
@Weezilou Hi Louise! I’m not how rare these actually are but we don’t see them at the feeders much. The White-breasted ones are much more common at our feeders. I posted a picture of one as a filler for a day I missed so you can see the difference. As soon as I remember how, I will link you to it... 😂😂
