Have wheels, will travel. by helenhall

Have wheels, will travel.

On Fridays, I don't work. But today, I organised a meeting which needed to be had sooner rather than later and took to my bike to travel. Taking the scenic route home (which is where I often end up walking) the puddles got bigger, the mud thicker and my wheels more and more clogged up by the minute. I was sliding around precariously and questioning my judgement concerning the route. So this scene amused me as I emerged on to the embankment approaching home. The lady on the stationary bike stopped to ponder upon the wisdom of continuing and from the distance, the commuter approached with his tiny wheels and no hesitation about ploughing through the water. There are three pictures merged here to put the scene together - I'm not happy with the quality of the merge as it needed a lot more work. But I don't have time.........
Great story here, I like the color which goes well with the atmosphere. FAV
