Elevenses on Good Friday

After an early morning start for abs and free style classes at the gym, I felt entitled to enjoy the traditional Good Friday Hot Cross bun with coffee. Part of my Easter tradition now is to make these hot cross buns adding extra cinnamon, spices and fruit, and serve them hot with butter to start of the Easter holidays. It was difficult to get a good shot of them because everyone, including me, was far too eager to just eat them. My eldest told me that this one was no good because the cross was upside down. I think perhaps that is fitting. After all, the cross did turn things upside down.
This bun looks scrumptious! Fantastic capture!

@gaylewood @noko411 @kategoring @flowerfairyann thank you. I had to laugh at what you all might think though if I had posted a picture of today's baking session, clearly, gluten free, vegan cooking is going to challenge me.
