Without a single photo for the day, I returned home this evening in a hurry to prepare for an evening of entertaining some distant relatives from Newtown, Connecticut.
I stole a couple of minutes at the lavender in the churchyard being enjoyed by so many bees and was optimistic at being able to catch one in flight. This I managed, but am not happy with the focus - hence the move to an arty look.

I understand the frustration trying to catch insects and have them sharp. This is where you need a good piece of glass on your camera and image stabilisation if not also a tripod! Well done for attempting it and trying to make something of it in post production!
