The Economy

I have a few more from the Tate Modern visit to share - todays clouds and experimentation with the Morandi artist challenge are not viewable.

This small portion of the ever changing skyline seemed to lend itself very well to the square format. I took a number of shots designed to be squared off, and briefly attempted to compose a nine square collage yesterday, but I didn't like it at all and as some of you have indicated on yesterday's post, it is often more satisfying to see the individual photo. My thoughts on that one are now confirmed.

PS - now that I have loaded this I see it needs straightening. Grrr... but then that wouldn't be in the spirit of my attempt to stay SOOC
cranes! cranes! everywhere there are cranes. even on 365! :-)

I like this composition in the square. considering the challenges, you have done a great job with your lines. I am having the same frustration.

Is the crane the official city bird :) Excellent combination of POV and square format.

This is very nice seen and designed!
- blue-red-yellow and grey/white tones
- horizontal-vertical of architecture against the diagonal cranes
So nice matched up by your processing. Fav!

There is an illusion that these are just toy cranes and buildings!
