As we are experiencing two evenings of quality music this weekend, it seems appropriate for me to post from this experience. Last night we were treated to three sets from expert guitarists. Tonight, we are in for some amazing blues from Lisa Mills. I'm just off to dig out the Lisa Mills T-shirt I won in a raffle at the benefit gig she did for victims of the new Orleans Hurricane Katrina - some ten years ago. The thing I remember most about that night is that it was she who asked for a photo of me and her together with the t-shirt, after the gig. Crazily humble - most of these musicians. I love live music in small venues - can't be beaten. See you all later.
