January Words: Exercise (Howzat?)

I took myself off to the park at lunch time in search of evidence of exercise. Spent some considerable time lining up my fitbit to get a creative shot with the flashing lights. This involved a lot of standing still, no exercise, and lots of attempts at single handed shots on a 10 second timer so that I could get the lights to flash and have time to reposition the camera so that I could capture my fitbit flashing on the other hand with a big hill in the background.
I'm not showing you the results, but I will tell you that my hands were quite frozen by the end of this. I continued to scan the expanse of open park next to the gym and leisure centre in search of exercising subjects. All I found was this. He was putting his all into catching that ball, and it was as much as I could do to keep up with him. No chance of an in focus capture - it was dull, and as I said, my hands were frozen.

I find that tracking motion in a panning shot is really challenging, You captured the essence.

Love it, the negative space and sense of movement really make the shot interesting.

Excellent impression of boundless energy.

Haha - well we've all got an excellent idea of his speed. I'm not showing Monty or he will bring me his ball....

Well, it's definitely an exercise shot. Plenty of action here and he must be very quick and clever to catch that ball. Credit to you too for catching him in mid-air.
