Dark and incomprehensible

Another emotionally charged day, trying to grasp the horrific events in the history of the Jews. These stones stand on top of the children's memorial a tribute to the 1.5 million jewish children who were killed during the holocaust. The dark underground cavern beneath, houses candles lit and transformed into thousands of tiny lights overhead through the mirrors that surround. The names of the children are read out in the darkness. The whole episode in history is completely incomprehensible.

"All of Europe has turned into a monster"

Still processing this, and this afternoons bizarre visit to a palestinian village left on the wrong side of the Israeli border. Man's inhumanity to man continues. People continue to ignore. It remains incomprehensible.

Wow... so powerful!

What horrors they suffered then and what horrors a lot of children are witnessing now! It really is incomprehensible

A very sombre image. Incomprehensible indeed and history repeats over and over again.

I just don't get it. Why can't we all live together. We are just quarks in a vast universe.
