Seeking harmony

A beautiful wise old Olive tree stands prominently in an ancient and historic city in which wisdom would appear to have died.

The olive tree stands at the top of a hill overlooking the old city of Hebron. On one side of the tree, the Youth Against Settlements run their activities for local children, on the other side of the tree the soldiers patrol. I wanted to move on to happier things today, but sad news from the village where we spent two weeks and made so many new friends and shared much joy, leaves me with a heavy heart.
