Fliting in the Wind by helenhall

Fliting in the Wind

Today I have been flitting from one thing to another and back again, much like most of my photography subjects. I just can't decide what to focus on.

I have had several attempts to overlay a series of shots and create something Kathleen Clemons like, with just a modicum of take-it or leave-it kind of success, with a great deal of flitting between buttercups and daisies. I keep concluding that I need to read the camera manual but failing to do it. I am the master procrastinator.

I am sure my experimentation will continue over the weekend. In the meanwhile, this Cow Parsley conglomerate seemed to fit the bill for half and half challenge.
Certainly captures the feel of a plants swaying in the wind much better than a crisp single exposure.

Sometimes its hard to find things in the manual. I just google it and can usually get the answer. Nice attempt. I went out today and tried to do some more K. Clemons with a swirl around a focal point but was unsuccessful. Oh well.

I agree with the first comment . . . the blurred motion effect is quite nice in this image! You ended up with a wonderful half & half image through your experimentation. :-)

Almost dreamlike - I like it Helen. Keep calm and carry on flitting.

You got an interesting result in this shot Helen. It took the get pushed challenges to motivate me to learn how to use my camera, the manual scared me for a long time, so I kept putting it off and sticking in the auto mode. I can relate to the procrastination and dithering, I can waste simply hours 'editing'....
