Forgive me for posting pumpkins when we are so far past Halloween, but I am posting for 18 October when we were on our travels.
This day was a road day for us, and we underestimated our travel time vastly, such that there was mounting tension whilst we wondered what penalty would await us for arriving at the car hire place out of hours. Everything worked out in the end, but I remember it as a grumpy day, and there were few photos to show for our minimum explorations.
These nattering pumpkins were outside of the Dog Watch café in Stonington where we stopped for lunch - having somehow managed to miss the turn for our intended destination of Mystic.
