I have nothing to offer from Saturday. My husband and I went out into the countryside anticipation of catching the blood moon last night, which would have been my circle finale for the week. We walked across fields until it was well dark, but the cloud cover didn't let up until much later in the night when we were home and safely tucked in our beds.
So here are some boats from a couple of weeks ago.
Sad about the clouds...but nice composition seeing the boats through the wire fence. We had a stunning blood moon last night, over the harbor, as I walked out of the concert. I had not brought my camera....
Love our composition here, very effective looking down on the boats through the wire. After waiting 57 days for rain we had the mother and father of a thunder storm ten minutes before moon rise and it carried on all night. Disappointed not to get a photo of the blood moon but oh boy was than rain welcome!
@taffy I would have loved to seen it. Went out two successive nights as the clouds looks as thought they might clear enough. @judithdeacon thank you Judith. Yes, we have been asking for the rain for long enough. We haven't had much here but welcomed what we got.
Love your pov here Helen. Cloud cover obscured the moon in my area too. Got excited when I saw a pink sky behind some of the clouds but it came to nothing. Sharing your disappointment about the blood moon.
@judithdeacon thank you Judith. Yes, we have been asking for the rain for long enough. We haven't had much here but welcomed what we got.
